Chinese star Xiong Zhao Zhong (22-4-1, 12KOs) will make the third defense of his WBC 105-pound championship against Oswaldo Novoa (12-4-1, 7KOs) of Mexico. The fight is going to take place on February 5th, according to Canelo Promotions matchmaker Miguel Ayala, who also confirmed that "the contracts were signed by both fighters, the fight is done." The bout is going to take place at a venue located in Haikou, which is a province of China.

"Canelo Promotions" give me a break. At least The Golden Boy earned the right to have a promotional stable. Canelo is all hype. Far too soon for him to have something like this. Needs to focus on getting better as he is not "elite" as many boast
Guess this is a step up from his last "title defense," when he fought the 7-5 dude who had been KO'd in three of his previous five fights
I gave him a pass. His original opponent had visa issues or something like that.

Zhong should be stripped of his title for ducking Raymi.
