Zeuge, Koelling and Culcay Return Dates Are Set

By Per Ake Persson

Unbeaten super middleweight Tyron Zeuge (14-0) will take on Baker Barakat with the vacant IBF Int´l title at stake on August 16 in Erfurt on the Hernandez vs Arslan bill. Barakat´s record is a big questionmark to many recordkeepers but the boxrec record reads 40-16-4 but how many of these fights that were for real remains an open question.

Zeuge´s stable- and gymmate Enrico Koelling (14--0) will, according to Spanish website espabox.com, take on Adasat "El Toro" Rodriguez (9-3-2) on August 30 in Halle / Westfalen on the undercard to Huck vs Larghetti. This will be Koelling´s first defence of the WBA Int´l light heavyweight title.

Superwelter Jack Culcay (17-1) is training in Copehagen with Joey Gamache as headcoach. Culcay challenge EBU champ Isaac Real (10-0-1) August 16 in Erfurt. Sparring is according to a press release from Sauerland Event going well and French super middleweight Mehdi Bouadla lasted only five rounds before being sent home with a bad cut after walking into a left hook from "Golden" Jack.
