Former IBF welterweight champion Jan Zaveck (32-2, 18KOs), currently sidelined with an injury, has withdrawn from his position as the mandatory challenger for EBU titlist Leonard Bundu. Bundu will now take on the highest ranked available contender. Zaveck lost his title last September when he was stopped in five rounds by Andre Berto. He returned in March and won a dominating twelve round decision over Bethel Ushona to capture the WBO's Inter-Continental championship.
