Zab Judah, Kostya Tszyu Ten Year Reunion in Motion

By Ruslan Chikov

After ten years, Zab Judah and Kostya Tszyu will meet face to face. In a major unification bout in November 2001, Tszyu stopped Judah to unify the IBF/WBC/WBA titles at 140-pounds. Later this week, Judah is going to arrive in Moscow, Russia. The boxer has been invited to Moscow by promoter Vladimir Hryunov.

The IBF's number one contender at 140 will serve as a special guest at Hyrunov's card on June 20th, where Kendall Holt (28-5, 16 KOs) will face Hyrunov's unbeaten southpaw Khabib Allakhverdiev (16-0, 7 KOs). Khabib is now being trained by Tszyu, who at one time used a young Kendall Holt as a sparring partner.

There is going to be a special media event where Tszyu and Judah will be joined together to meet with reporters for a question and answer session.
I agree. It could be the beginning of an attempted Tszyu comeback. He's too damn old tho...39-40? He was great but prolly should concentrate on gettin fat on the old lady's good cooking now.
I was upset at Tszyu…

I don't think it's a re-union, there's something else at play.

Why are they having a reunion for this fight? Zab must be getting paid and was bored and needed a vacation.
