Yusaf Mack Dominates Omar Sheika For Decision Win
Resorts Hotel & Casino, Atlantic City - Yusaf Mack won a twelve round unanimous decision over Omar Sheika and capture the vacant USBA light heavyweight title. Mack dominated Sheika for most of the fight and dropped him in the twelfth and final round with a hard left hook. Mack (20-4-2, 17 KO) recovers from last June's TKO defeat to IBF champion Tavoris Cloud.
The scores were 119-107 and 118-109 twice.
Sheika (32-12, 21 KO) retired after his loss to Adrien Diaconu in 2010, but then returned a few months later and lost to Garrett Wilson last April. He once again came back earlier this year and won two fights in a row before losing to Mack.
