Yoandris Salinas To Face Oscar Escandon on May 31

By Ben Jacobs

South Florida-based Cuban Yoandris Salinas (20-0-2, 13KOs) will return to the ring on May 31 in Las Vegas against Colombian Óscar Escandón (22-1, 15KOs).

Salinas will be looking to get back into the title mix at 122lbs following his draw in London last October against current WBA champion Scott Quigg.

The two men share a common opponent in Nehomar Cermeño who himself will be challenging Scott Quigg on April 19 in Manchester.  Salinas drew with Cermeño while Escandón suffered a split decision loss.
