Wlodarczyk vs. Mormeck Clash in Play For 12/22

By Luke Furman

According to WBC cruiserweight champion Krzysztof Wlodarczyk (47-2-1, 33 KOs), he will defend his title on December 22nd against former cruiserweight king Jean-Marc Mormeck (36-5, 22KOs). The French boxer returns as a cruiser for the first time since 2007. Mormeck was destroyed in four rounds by heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko in March.

The Polish fighter says there was also some discussion about facing Shane Cameron on in March or April of next year, but Cameron was defeated by Danny Green on Wednesday.

smart move for Mormeck, no clue why he tried fighting at HW but he's taken too much abuse to remain durable Wloda should have this by KO, though it's a decent fight after this, hope he fights Lebedev

Hahahaha, I wonder if he'll agree that Momerk is like Tyson

Momeck is useless at heavyweight. It is a joke he gets any high profile fights after Oquendo beat him(judges got it wrong though).

Mormeck is a good name on Wlodarczyk's resume and Mormeck will have another decent payday before he's done.
