WBC world cruiserweight champion Krzysztof "Diablo" Wlodarczyk (45-2-1, 32 KOs) has announced that he wants to defend his title in the fall. The 29-year-old boxer has already resumed training. Last Thursday, "Diablo" was taken to a hospital in Warsaw after an overdose of sedatives. He left the hospital two days later. Either in October or November, Wlodarczyk would like to face WBO champion Marco Huck (33-1, 24 KOs) or former champion Danny Green (31-4, 27 KOs).

Despite Green's recent loss to Antonio Tarver, Wlodarczyk notes him as the frontrunner because the Australian boxer brings more money to the table than any other boxer at 200-pounds.

"I want to fight in October, against Marco Huck in Germany or Danny Green in Australia. I would prefer the second option because there is more money to be made. For Green, it would be a good offer, because he gets the opportunity recover from his loss to Tarver," Wlodarczyk said.
