Tyson Fury's rematch with Wladimir Klitschko is being targeted for the month of May, according to uncle and trainer Peter Fury.

Fury (25-0, 18KOs) snatched the WBO/IBO/IBF/WBA world titles from Klitschko (64-4, 53KOs) last November in Dusseldorf. There was a rematch clause which is sending them back in the ring with each other.

The fight is expected to head back to Germany, but Peter says that aspect is still up in the air with numerous countries campaigning to secure the fight. The exact date of the fight is not set either, with every Saturday in May under consideration.

Peter Fury told Sky Sports: "Everything is open at the moment but they are in the frame. We are dealing with it. We are looking at May, but it could be May 7, 14, 21 or 28. Nothing is fixed. There are many countries in the race at the moment and the UAE are in the running for sure. If the finances were all similar, of course we'd like to have it back here in England.

"All those tricks of the trade won't be an argument any more - the ring will be done properly, there'll be no dispute with the gloves and there'll be no more argument because everything will be correct."

Fury was a big underdog in the first meeting. In the rematch his chances for victory have been raised with many believing the former champ is now past his best.

The second fight will be missing one of the four world titles. The IBF title was stripped from Fury for failing to make a mandatory defense against Czar Glazkov. Because of the immediate rematch clause, he was unable to go forward with any opponent in the interim. The vacant IBF belt was captured last Saturday by Charles Martin with a third round TKO of Glazkov.
