Although not officially confirmed, it does appear that Julian Williams' fellow Philadelphian, Bryant Jennings will challenge Wladimir Klitschko for the world heavyweight title early next year. The unbeaten junior middleweight contender is of the opinion that his friend can be the man to finally dethrone Klitschko.
The fight is slated for an HBO televised date of April 25th, likely at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
"I definitely think he can beat him, he's an extremely gifted athlete. I've known Bryant since his first couple of amateur fights and ever since then he's been getting better and better. I think he definitely has a good chance to beat Wladimir and bring that title back to Philadelphia. I'm excited for him and happy for him. Bryant's arms are extremely long, he's got like an 81 inch reach, that abnormal. He's a good boxer, gets on his feet and he's very patient. Everyone who fights Klitschko gets impatient and does silly things. I don't see Bryant doing that," Williams told BoxingScene.com.
