Weights: Hernandez vs Rezago, Casilla vs Santos, More

By Jake Donovan

The next installment of the ‘Quien Pinta Para La Corona’ series comes Saturday evening in Augascalientes, Mexico. The series was launched last year thanks to the efforts of Grupo Comex and Grupo Modelo, instrumental in creating opportunities for fighters in Mexico whose careers would otherwise fly under the radar.

Saturday’s edition marks the second entry of season two, with the 2012 season debut having taken last month.

Four bouts are slated for this weekend’s card, which airs live on Mexico Cadena Tres from Arena del Alba in Augascalientes.

Weigh-In Results:
Juan ‘Churritos’ Hernandez, 112 lb vs. Angel ‘Cangurito’ Rezago, 112 lb.
Martin ‘Pini’ Casilla, 121.75 lb vs. Cecilio Santos, 121.25 lb
Martin ‘Tecua’ Tecuapetla, 108 lb vs. Ulises ‘Ratoncito’ Lara, 107.5 lb
Miguel Angel ‘Terry’ Mendoza, 130 lb. vs. Abraham ‘Cholo’ Gomez, 130 lb.
