There was no drama at the scales, though fans can only hope that there will be plenty in the ring for Showtime's televised tripleheader Saturday evening at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

In the main event, lineal super lightweight king Danny 'Swift' Garcia takes on Rod Salka in a non-title fight that few view as a competitive matchup. Both fighters came in within the contracted limit of 142 lb.; Garcia weighed 141.8 lb. for his first non-title fight since 2011, while Salka–whose last fight was at super featherweight–came in at 141 lb.

The televised co-feature pits Lamont Peterson in a super lightweight title fight versus Edgar Santana. Peterson, an alphabet titlist since his split decision win over Amir Khan in Dec. '11, weighed in at the 140 lb. divisional limit. Santana, fighting in his first title fight, tipped the scales at 139.5 lb.

Opening the telecast, Daniel Jacobs and Jarrod Fletcher meet in a scheduled 12-round middleweight bout. Jacobs (27-1, 24KOs) came in at 159.5 lb. for his second attempt at an alphabet title. A win would make Jacobs the first cancer survivor in boxing history to claim a major title. Fletcher (18-1, 10KOs)–fighting stateside for the first time in his career–was slightly lighter at 159.25 lb.
Once again like i'll tell you garcia vs peterson would be an even fight regardless of weight.. how do you know if he wasnt sick during camp? Those things play a factor during training camp... missing a few days can be critical while preparing for a fight. When danny and peterson ma...
Once again, you should go watch the weigh in video and you'll see that Danny can't make a healthy 140. Drained Garcia = eaten alive by Peterson. Work on your reading comprehension.
Once again like i'll tell you garcia vs peterson would be an even fight regardl...
