WBC Board of Governors: Sulaiman Was Best Option

The WBC's Board of Governors unanimously agree that the election of Mauricio Sulaiman, as the World Boxing Council President, is the best option to continue the projects started by his late father Jose Sulaiman.

“Mauricio is the person who has more aptitudes of all of us. He’s the only one who knows everything about the WBC. He lives in Mexico and learned a lot from his father. It doesn’t matter that he is son of Don Jose, we chose him because of his ideas and heart” Rex Walker said.

“I choose Mauricio because I’ve known him for many years and I know he is the one capable to lead the organization. He knows the job, he’s a great man, very competitive and has a great knowledge of boxing” Bob Logist said.

Some boxers were present during the election of the new president, Miguel Cotto was among them and he was happy with the selection and gave his trust to the new leader of the WBC.

“Mauricio will follow the steps of his father. We have a new president and he will be as good as Don Jose” Cotto said.

There are only 3 things to know in order to run the WBC. #1) Theres a belt born every second, and 2 to sanction it. #2) No green, no green. #3) Kickbacks? No habla ingles.

From what I can tell he was the only option. No other candidates were even in the running.
