Warren, Boente Agree: Haye-Chisora Winner Gets Vitali

By Edward Chaykovsky

Frank Warren, promoter for former British heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora (15-3, 9KOs), would love to match his boxer with David Haye (25-2, 23KOs), the former WBA champion. On Saturday night, WBC champion Vitali Klitschko won a hard-fought twelve round decision over Chisora in Munich, Germany. It was the toughest fight for Klitschko in years.

An ugly scene erupted during the post-fight press conference  - when Haye and Chisora started trading words, and then started trading punches, and their entourages quickly became involved in a wild brawl. Haye's manager and trainer Adam Booth had his head busted open with a bottle.

Prior to the drama, Warren approached Bernd Boente, manager of Vitali, with a great idea.

"Bernd, how about this.....David fights Dereck and the winner gets Vitali," Warren said.

Boente replied - "that sounds like a great plan."

The post-fight brawl between Haye and Chisora captured headlines all over the world. At this very moment, while the drama is still lingering in the air, a fight between the two of them would make for a big pay-per-view sell in the UK.

Haye-Chisora. If Haye wins, he gets Vitali. If Chisora wins, he gets Wlad.

Haye would KO Chisora, but Haye-Vitali would be a snoozefest.

The winner should fight big tits Arreola. That would be two good heavyweight fights.

vitali looked very vulnerable last night. chisora had vitali retreating the entire fight. chisora didn't throw much more then 30 punches\round but he landed to the body frequently & was able to touch vitali's chin. vitali said after this fight…
