Vitali Klitschko: My Goal is To Put Manuel Charr Down!
By Ruslan Chikov
WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko (44-2, 40KOs) is predicting a night of punishment for undefeated Manuel Charr (21-0, 11KOs). Vitali will defend his title against Charr on September 8th at Olympic Stadium in Moscow, Russia.
This could be the final fight for Vitali before he starts a full-blown political career. Vitali doesn't rule out the possibility of another fight after Charr.
Vitali is planning for fireworks in the early rounds. He wants to go after Charr with the goal of putting him on the mat.
"I'll play with the Charr. I'll use his mistakes against him and I will punish him. Maybe physically Charr is slightly stronger than me, but he's too narcissistic, it is evident in his posture and gestures. Still, I respect my opponent: our fight will be a real battle. Charr never went down in a fight. My goal is to send him to the floor of the ring. I will bring a tough fight, and take aim at the head of Manuel," Vitali said.
Cool. Retire or fight Haye.Comment by vitali1999 on 08-24-2012

It's more than obvious after the Ukrainian giants last fight that he has lost a step. This really should be his last fight or he will loose soon. It's hard to imagine him fighting waaay past his prime like Holfield…Comment by Daddy T on 08-23-2012
this fight is garbage, old man holyfield would probably put up a better fight than Charr, the guy is complete pants, if this is Vitali's last fight and he ducks Haye its a pretty lame way to end his career.Post a Comment - View More User Comments (41)
