Bill Emes spoke to an emotional Tureano Johnson, who discussed his ten round TKO defeat to Curtis Stevens on Saturday night in Philadelphia. Johnson was well ahead on the judges' scorecards at the time of the stoppage, taking the power of Stevens thoughout the fight, the feeling on whether he felt the stoppage was premature, what he wants to do next and more.

He knows it will be hard to get back on tv, the network wanted Stevens to go over to have him in the ring with Kirkland , Tapia or Kid Chocolate next

Feel sorry for him. He came with a gameplan and stuck with it the whole way through. He'd already taken some great shots and was clearly winning the fight. Ref jumped in the first time he really was staggered in the last round. Should have been given the chance to continue.

Seems like he doesnt rememberhimself dropping his guard and his head. Ref did a great job by protecting this young talentful kid.
