Video: Guerrero's Trainer Mocks Floyd Mayweather Routine

Ryan Burton catches up with Robert "The Ghost" Guerrero (31-1-1, 18KOs), who shows a few moves at his Las Vegas media day. Guerrero challenges WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (43-0, 26KOs) on May 4th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. During the media day, Guerrero's father and trainer, Ruben Guerrero, mocked the infamous Mayweather padwork routine that is often seen between Floyd and his uncle/trainer Roger Mayweather.

It's just one team trying to belittle the other. Nothing new in boxing. It puts butts in seats and adds a little more intrigue to a big fight for the casuals.

People mock the routine because it's not a routine of power punching. To them it means nothing. To them it's not how you'd "really" fight in the ring. Unfortunately for those who mock it, don't realize that it's another form…
