Video: Darchinyan: I Will Beat Donaire Like Rigo Did

Former champion Vic Darchinyan discusses his upcoming rematch with Nonito Donaire, taking place later tonight at the American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Texas. They will battle in the featherweight division. Darchinyan wants revenge and Donaire plans to repeat his plan. The fight will be televised by HBO. Video by Ed Keenan.

I will say this though, as Darchinyan has progressed in his career he has fought more of a boxing style and less aggressive. We will see if he is able to do what he promises.

Too small, too slow, and too old to be a serious threat in the featherweight division. Rigo...he ain't. Vic's best days were many years ago as a flyweight, when he was truly intimidating. Gotta admire his courage and heart though.
