Ward would get a lot more money for fighting Froch in the UK than he would get for fighting him in the US, but he won't even think about doing it.
But now he's saying he will fight Groves in the UK. So why not Froch?
Obviously, he is not as confident about beating Froch as he says he is.
And yeah, he did want the "weak link" Chavez for himself. Lol.

I know every GGG fan is going to throw a fit over what he said but it's true. GGG is on the rise and his team can't afford to lose that momentum yet or even risk it with a potential Martinez fight later this year.
the only thing I disagreed with Ward about is Froch. he'll fight Groves in the UK but not Froch, isn't that all Froch wanted is for Ward to face him in the UK? and saying Froch wants the weakest link in Chavez is a little funny because didn't Ward want to fight Chavez? sounds like bitter grapes to me.
Ward's best bet is to move up to 175, it's not his fault he cleaned out 168 but I highly doubt HBO willing to pay 3+ million to have another Rodriguez type fight.
