WBC welterweight champion "Vicious" Victor Ortiz (29-2-2, 22KOs) is not impressed by his next opponent, Floyd Mayweather Jr. (41-0, 25KOs) Their fight was announced earlier this week for September 17, likely at the MGM Grand. Ortiz has been dreaming of this fight since he was a kid. Mayweather will return from a 16-month layoff. Ortiz is returning from the best win of his career, a twelve round decision over previously undefeated Andre Berto.

"It's a cool thing, because ever since I was a kid, I've said I'll be the first to defeat Mayweather, and now I'm on the doorstep of making it true," Ortiz said to the Los Angeles Times. "Mayweather's quick, he's a great fighter, but I've never been that impressed with his style," Ortiz said.
