Junior welterweight Victor Cayo (27-2, 19KOs) is already preparing his training schedule, as he anticipates a deal being reached to fight his countryman from the Dominican Republic, former champion Joan Guzman (31-0, 18KOs). Cayo thinks the fight is eventually going to happen in the month of March in Santo Domingo. He says there are only a few minor details to iron out and he's waiting for Guzman to accept the terms.
"Mentally I am ready to fight with Joan, but to complete my fitness I plan on training in the United States," Cayo said.
