Vic Darchinyan Willing To Move Up For Arce Rematch

By Mark Vester

Elias Nassar, manager of IBO bantamweight champion Vic Darchinyan (36-3-1, 27KOs), has advised BoxingScene.com that his fighter is willing to move up in weight to challenge WBO super bantamweight champ Jorge Arce (57-6-2, 44KOs). In 2009, Darchinyan stopped Arce in eleven rounds in a super flyweight contest. The ringside doctor stopped the fight before the start of the twelfth after examining bad cuts above both of Arce's eyes. Last Saturday night in Las Vegas, Arce captured his WBO title with a twelve round stoppage of previously undefeated Wilfredo Vazquez Jr.

[QUOTE=hyeduk;10513109]for those who don't know, Darchinyan was the first who signed the contract against Donaire. Darchinyan was the one who held three belts, not Donaire. If Donaire(or his promoter) wanted to fight Vic, then he could have done so as…
