Vic Darchinyan Signs Promotional Pact With Top Rank

According to sources in Armenia, former champion Vic Darchinyan (38-5-1, 27KOs) signed a multi-year promotional agreement with Top Rank. Darchinyan will make his Top Rank debut on May 11th at the Uni-Trade Stadium in Laredo, Texas. Mexican Olympian Oscar Valdez (3-0, 30KOs) will also fight on the undercard. The fights will be televised as part of "Solo Boxeo Tecate" on the UniMas network.

Darchinyan, 37-years-old, is a former flyweight, undisputed super flyweight, and bantamweight champion. Darchinyan, now at super bantamweight, recently signed a managerial agreement with Frank Espinoza.
