Simphiwe Vetyeka believes he will win the IBO featherweight title when he fights Daud Yordan on April 14.
The South African is scheduled to fight the Indonesian in Jakarta and is confident that he will return as champion.
“I have been training very hard and I believe I'm almost ready for this fight,” Vetyeka said on Friday.
“I don't know much about Daud except what I saw on the videos we downloaded from YouTube last week.
"I don't think it's going to be difficult to beat him.”
Vetyeka is unconcerned about travelling into the champion’s backyard.
“I'm not bothered at all as I believe boxers should fear nothing and should be able to fight anywhere in the world," he said.
“Daud's compatriots are not going to help him inside the ring. Only three people will be inside the ring: the referee, Daud and I.”
The 32-year-old former SA and IBO bantamweight champion is trained by Nick Durandt in Johannesburg.
