Vazquez Jr. Prefers Arce Rematch, Not Oquendo Bout
By Jhonny Gonzalez
Wlifredo Vazquez Jr. prefers to land a direct rematch with WBO super bantamweight champion Jorge Arce, and not a possible WBO eliminator with fellow Puerto Rican Jonathan "Polvo" Oquendo in October. Vazquez's co-promoter, Tutico Zabala, has been in talks with Puerto Rico Best Boxing to stage the eliminator with Oquendo, but he's also trying to get his fighter back in the ring with Arce.
