Vargas-Narh, Magdaleno-Hidalgo Double on Oct. 11th

By Rick Reeno

Top Rank has put together a UniMas televised doubleheader on October 11 at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

In the main event, undefeated welterweight contender Jessie Vargas (22-0, 9KOs) will take on battle-tested veteran Ray Narh (26-3, 21KOs).

The co-feature will see red hot super bantamweight prospect Jessie Magdaleno (16-0, 12KOs) face Raul Hidalgo (19-9, 14KOs).

The following night, at the same Las Vegas venue, Juan Manuel Marquez will challenge WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley in the headline bout of an HBO Pay-Per-View event.

They should put Vargus in against the winner, not the KO loser of a recent fight.
