Vanes To Face Bladimir Hernandez on Bute-Magee Card

By David Rosenberg

Vanes Martirosyan will shake the rust off of his 9 month layoff when he takes on Bladimir Hernandez (18-4, 16KOs) on March 19 on the Lucian Bute-Brian Magee undercard. The bout takes place in Montreal, Quebec, at the Bell Centre.

The Glendale, CA based Armenian will immediately return to the ring on April 23rd when he takes on the rugged Saul Roman (34-8, 29KOs) of Mexico for the WBC Silver junior middleweight title. The fight takes place at the WinStar Casino in Oklahoma and will be part of the Top Rank Live series and televised by Fox Sports. Rober Marroquin will fight vs TBA in the other co-feature.  The winner of the bout will be the mandatory challenger to the winner of the Saul Alvarez-Mathew Hatton clash for the vacant WBC junior middleweight title.

Hitman932 hasn't hit this thread yet to spit his venom ? He must be too busy hating on Bute on a thousand other boxing forums at the moment. :cool2:

Highly doubt Showtime will televise this.

I bet even when Vanes looks in a mirror his reflection is laughing at him.

Wow this card is utter crap. Let's just hope Vanes loses to this guy.

Sweet! This is shaping up to be the worst card in the history of boxing with a title on the line!
