Tyson Marquez Back in Feb, Targets Viloria For April

By Miguel Rivera

In what is shaping up as the biggest flyweight encounter in many years, WBA champion Hernan "Tyson" Marquez (32-2, 25KOs) is targeting an April unification with WBO beltholder Brian Viloria (30-3, 17KOs), who last Saturday scored a very impressive win by stopping betting favorite Giovani Segura in eight rounds. Marquez wants to have a tuneup in February and directed his team to get him Viloria for April. Viloria himself may return in February, but his next defense could get pushed to March.

Those two loses of Marquez came from Filipnios. Nonito Donaire and Richie, perfect time for him to avenge his defeat to these Pinoys.

Wonjongkam is rated higher than Marquez as well. Marquez is a top 3, 4 Flyweight but clearly not the best Flyweight. Anyone with boxing knowledge knows this.

"""""War Marquez! Best Flyweight in the world""""""" Nice try....try again. Villoria has fought and beat the best. Name ONE fighter Marquez beat that compares to Solis and Segura.
