Isaac Lowe has been handed his next fight date.

The ‘Westgate Warrior’, 22, holds the Commonwealth featherweight championship and is set to return to the ring next month.

Lowe (12-0-1, 5 KOs) will face an opponent to be named on July 9 at Manchester Arena.

He will feature as part of the undercard to Tyson Fury’s world heavyweight title rematch against Wladimir Klitschko, which will be screened exclusively live on BoxNation, with the fight likely to be either the first defence of his Commonwealth crown, which was won with a stoppage against Marco McCullough at the same venue back in February, or for a fringe WBO belt.

Lowe will be looking to secure a world ranking, should the fight be made for one of the four governing bodies’ minor trinkets, before moving on and eventually mixing in that company.

The appearance will be flanked by Terry Flanagan’s third defence of the WBO lightweight crown against Mzonke Fana, plus three-weight Irish champion Peter McDonagh and Tyson’s cousin Hughie Fury, who will be in over 10 or 12 rounds in what will be his 21st outing.

Meanwhile, Kid Galahad is set to feature in the second fight of his comeback from a drugs ban, while there is action for young Yusuf Safa and heavyweight prospect Nathan Gorman.
