British/Commonwealth heavyweight champion Tyson Fury (16-0, 11KOs) believes he's ready for some world class gold. He defense his belts on November 12th in Manchester against unbeaten Canadian Neven Pajkic, but he wants to face WBA "regular" champion Alexander Povetkin (22-0, 15KOs) in early 2012. Povetkin himself has a scheduled defense on December 3rd in Helsinki against Cedric Boswell.

“I’m not thinking about the European [title] any more,” Fury insists to Sportsvibe. “I’m thinking about other things now, bigger things. I want the winner of Povetkin-Boswell. I’m ready to take Povetkin out, no problem, but he has to get past Boswell first. I’m the British and Commonwealth champion chasing a world title. I’m chasing them. This time next year, I will be WBA world champion.”
