Tyson Fury's ring return will be against American Joey Abell after original opponent Gonzalo Omar Basile pulled out with a lung infection. Fury has waited almost 10 months for a heavyweight fight after David Haye pulled out of two scheduled bouts and he will face Abell at the Copper Box Arena in London on February 15. The Minnesota man has 28 knockouts in his 29 wins, but has lost three of his last five fights.
Exciting prospect Anthony Joshua continued the perfect start to his professional career with a fourth straight knockout win over Dorian Darch on Saturday.
Promoter Eddie Hearn has talked about moving Joshua swiftly towards the likes of Dereck Chisora and Fury and the Wilmslow man has mocked these ambitions.
Fury said: "I really hope that Eddie Hearn doesn't start getting ahead of himself and start trying to match him for titles or putting him anywhere near Dereck Chisora as he's foolishly talking about cos he'll get sparked out. He's another I want to see get fed easy fights, built up to 20-0. If he gets beat any time soon, there's no mega payday for me down the line. He'd be easy lolly."
