Tszyu To Help Train Allakhverdiev for Kendall Holt Bout

By Gregory Stangrit, Allboxing.ru

As previously noted on BoxingScene.com, an agreement was reached for a junior welterweight clash between Khabib Allakhverdiev (16-0, 7 KOs) and former world champion Kendall Holt (28-5, 16 KOs). Promoter Vladimir Hryunov plans to stage the event on June 20th in Moscow, Russia.

Former undisputed junior welterweight world champion Kostya Tszyu will assist in preparing Allakhverdiev for the fight. Tszyu has been training Allakhverdiev's stablemate, cruiserweight Denis Lebedev.

"Khabib, like Dennis, is left-handed, and I am sure that our sessions will be very useful to him in a fight with Holt," said Tszyu.
