Former super welterweight world champion Austin Trout who's exchanged more than the time of day with  Miguel Cotto and Delvin Rodriguez, and recently said that he... is going for Cotto, hook, line and sinker!

Cotto and Rodriguez this Saturday face each other at the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida.

And Trout's punchline: “Both really need a victory!”

Last year Trout defeated Cotto and Rodriguez within a six months spell. He mused:

“They’re very different boxers. Delvin uses his height while Miguel likes to fight close. When I trained to face Delvin, I trained as if he was going to be aggressive like Cotto. But, I was able to beat them both with my boxing.

“If you ask me, Miguel will win by decision, but... it will be a very close and entertaining fight.” Tags: Miguel Cotto , Austin Trout , Delvin Rodriguez , Cotto-Rodriguez , Cotto vs Rodriguez
It´s funny how the Cotto lovers are not bashing him for fighting Rodriguez instead of a legitimate oponent. If it were Canelo, hey would call him a coward. I hope Cotto wins so he faces Canelo next and Canelo gets a rematch with Floyd the runner at 154 !!!
Canelo is deep ...
