Tressa Lindenberg-Brittany Muscat Set For July 4 Clash

Toowoomba running icon turned boxer "T-Rex" Tressa Lindenberg is set to return to the ring against Gold Coast's Brittany Muscat on the under card of "Smithy Brings the Big fights 7" on July 4 at Rumours International in Toowoomba.

Tressa, who is the sister of trainer and promoter Brendon Smith will be stepping between the ropes for the fourth time.

"To be able to fight on a card stacked with world class fighters is every boxers dream" said Lindenberg.

"I'm very much a beginner but the guys have made me feel part of the team in every way which reflects the professionalism of the whole outfit. The training environment is outstanding lead by not just a trainer but a tactical genius Brendon, we will all give 150% on fight night".

Tressa isn't the only one excited for the fight.

"Tressa is an incredible athlete," said Brendon Smith. "She trains very hard and is learning in the gym everyday. Brittany will be a great challenge and I'm excited to see this match".

Her opponent Brittany Muscat, who is trained by James Nash of Dream Team boxing out of Jamie Myer's Fight Club, is no stranger to the ring either and holds a win over Tressa's stable mate.
