According to sources with knowledge of the situation, representatives from Top Rank will be in Denver today to discuss the details of possibly moving the highly anticipated Miguel Cotto vs. Antonio Margarito rematch from New York City. The fight is currently scheduled to take place in Madison Square Garden, which is nearly sold out. Denver's Pepsi Center is being viewed as a frontrunner venue to host the fight. Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Texas is also being considered.

Top Rank are scheduled to meet with arena representatives at the Pepsi Center. Tickets could go on sale as soon as Wednesday, if the fight moves to Denver. The New York State Athletic Commission will have Margarito examined by its doctor today, and the commission is expected to announce Tuesday whether it plans to approve Margarito's application for a boxing license.

The NYSAC is concerned with the safety of Margarito's surgically repaired right eye. The Mexican boxer injuried the eye during last November's severe beating at the hands of Manny Pacquiao. He underwent surgery in May, during which an articial lens was inserted into the eye.
