The final Boxing pay per view of the year. Vitali Klitschko puts his WBC heavyweight title on the line against UK's Danny Williams. Danny Williams scored a knockout win over Mike Tyson several months ago and that win put him in position for a showdown with Vitali. Vitali weighed in at a ripped 250 pounds, Williams weighed in at a very jacked 270 pounds. These are two big men who plan on using power punches to establish their dominance in the fight.
The main supporting bout of the evening will pit rising star and WBO junior welterweight champion Miguel Cotto against power punching Randall Bailey. This is the toughest test in the young career of Cotto. Miguel is hoping that a win over Bailey catapults him into a big money fight in 2005.

Danny Williams has stated "I defeated one of the most hardest punchers in Boxing history, I don't think Klitschko can hit harder then Mike Tyson. This fight will end two ways, either i catch him and knock him out early or wear him down and knock him out in the late rounds.
Vitali Klitschko has stated "If I get my chance to knock out Williams in the first round, I will take the chance"
Lennox Lewis has stated that Danny Williams is carrying a lot of weight, maybe too much. Manny Steward said that Williams put on too much muscle by lifting weights too much. Manny said that the added muscle will make Williams tired down the stretch.

Carlos Hernandez will take on Ranchero Ramirez in the opening bout , the weight is contracted for 132 pounds in a ten round bout. Hernamdez is weighing 142 pounds tonight, Ramirez is weighing 146 pounds tonight. Michael Buffer is announcing both fighters in the ring. Referee is Kenny Bayless.
Round 1 - Both guys touch gloves, they start some cautious jabbing. Hernandez is now starting to go for the head with power shots, now trying to muscle Ramirez to the ropes for body damage. Action is slow and the arena is almost empty, mainly due to three bouts coming before the main event, I'm sure it will be packed by the start of the main event. Hernandez landing some good bodyshots and appears stronger then Ramirez. Hernandez gets round 1.
Round 2 - They start off slow again jabbing. Good right by Hernandez, now a grazing left. Bodyshots by Hernandez. Hernandez is pushing Ramirez back by coming forward strong. Ramirez with a one-two, now jabbing to the head and body. Godo right by Ramirez, they exchange bodyshots. Ramirez with two good bodyshots. Very bad cut over the eye of Hernandez from an accidental clash of heads. Close round for Ramirez
Round 3 - Ramirez is now starting to come on as Hernandez is getting very bloody from the cut over his eye. Ref halts the action so the doctor can take a look at the cut. Hernandez cant see too well and Ramirez is taking advantage of the situation. Hernandez with a good left hook inside. There is blood everywhere from the cut of Hernandez, I don't see the doctors letting this fight go on much longer with the cut. Heranndez trying to get some bodyshots in. Ramirez with another close round.
Roy Jones thinks Hernandez should not fight any longer.
Round 4 - Hernandez being very aggressive now and Ramirez is being aggressive back, Hernandez is having trouble seeing from the cut and the cut is very bad. Two hooks by Ramirez, a hook back from Hernandez. Ramirez is hurt badly by a Hernandez uppercut. Big one-two by Hernandez, Ramirez is trying to come back. Ramirez is staying away and moving from Hernandez who is trying to get a knockout, round ends. Big round for Hernandez.
Round 5 - Good bodyshot by Hernandez, good uppercut by Ramirez. Both guys are trading powershots at a measured pace. Ramirez going up and downstairs. Ramirez is landing some big shots, Hernandez is almost a face of red from the cut. Big left hook by Hernandez. Good right by Hernandez, anothe right by hernandez. Both fighters are red from the cut, it's like a river. Hard right by Hernandez, combo by Ramirez. Huge right by Hernandez. Another round for Hernandez.
Round 6 - Doctors are checking on Ramirez for some reason, fight starts again. Hernandez tries to rush Ramirez and Ramirez is throwing plenty of punches to stop Hernandez in his tracks. They jab away. Hernandez is looking for the homerun swing. Hernandez is troubled by the cut, pawing at his eye. Ramirez jabbing at the eye. Hernandez with bodyshots. Right by Ramirez, bodyshots by Hernandez. Ramirez with a close round.
Round 7 - Huge right hand by Herandez right at the start, another two big power shots. Ramirez gets away and starts jabbing. Even the legs of both fighters have blood on them now. Kenny Bayless making a lot of warnings to Ramirez about coming in with his head. Good right by Bayless. Another right by Hernandez. Ramirez trying to steal the round by throwing more shots. I still gave Hernandez a close round.
Round 8 - Both guys fighting in close, Hernandez trying to get Ramirez into a slugfest. Bayless just warned Ramirez for countless holding and said next time he is taking a point. Both men jabbing and now trading shots in close. They battle against the ropes. Ramirez is tagging Hernandez at will now, out slicking him at the moment. Huge hook out of nowhere and Ramirez is down and hurt bad. Ramirez can barely stand and holds onto Hernandez for dear life and the bell rings to save him. What a fight to start a pay per view. Huge 10-8 round for Herandez in a close fight.
Round 9 - Hernandez goes on the attack with a big right. Ramirez is trying to fight going backwards. Hernandez is stalking. Big left by Ramirez. Big left by Hernandez and Ramirez mocks him and dances away. Hernandez hits him to the body. Good combo for Hernandez. Left by Hernandez. Good right by Hernandez. Another round for Hernandez. Final round is coming up.
Round 10 - Hernandez with a big right. HBO has Hernandez up with a two round lead. Ramirez warned for his head again. They start jabbing, big right by Hernandez. Left by Hernandez. Combo by Hernandez. Bodyshots by Hernandez. Hernandez is fighting like he really needs this round and he might. They are fighting close and trying to land bodyshots. Round ends. Hernandez with another round.

Round 2 - Navarro back to stalking and Sanchez trying to use his legs to move all around the ring and get away. Right hand by Navarro. Navarro leaving himself wide open, showing no respect for the power of Sanchez. Big right by Navarro, bodyshots by Navarro. Right hand by Sanchez. Sanchez just trying to land and move away, but his punches have no steam at all. Sanchez gets a close round based on throwing more punches.
Round 3 - Good right by Sanchez and Navarro just walks right through it. The punch has opened up the left eye of Navarro. Navarro now trying to get in some big bodyshots. Navarro just trying to get a knockout punch. Sanchez with an uppercut. Navarro with a combo. Sanchez getting more brave as the fight goes on. Navarro getting in some hurt on Sanchez against the ropes, Sanchez gets away. Right by Sanchez. Sanchez with a close round based on punch count.

Round 4 - HBO has Navarro up 2-1, Navarro is still stalking and trying to get a big shot in. left by Sanchez and big left back by Navarro. Bodyshots by Navarro, left by Navarro. He wobbles Sanchez with a looping right. Navarro really coming on, Sanchez trying to fight back, but his punches arent strong enough to fend Navarro off. Good combo by Navarro. Sanchez taking plenty of big shots in this round and his legs don't look good. Good round for Navarro.
Round 5 - Sanchez making a mistake by trading punches with Navarro. Navarro lands a good left as Sanchez lands a right. Sanchez breathing from the mouth now, appears to be getting tired. Navarro now trying to overpower Sanchez by imposing his size. Right uppercut by Navarro, right hand by Navarro. Time out to get Navarro's mouthpiece back in. Good right hook by Navarro, uppercut by Navarro. Combo by Navarro. Sanchez starting to trade and not getting the best of the action. Another round for Navarro.
Round 6 - Doctor is taking a look at the eye of Sanchez. Action resumes. Good bodyshot by Navarro. The cut of Sanchez is starting to flow blood. Sanchez hits Navarro with his head. Sanchez having trouble with the cut, pawing at the cut and getting hit by Navarro punches. They trade rights. Left hand by Navarro. Right by Sanchez. Bodyshot by Sanchez, big uppercut by Navarro. Round 7 - Navarro is back to stalking and Sanchez is on the retreat. Sanchez may have gotten a second wind as he is starting to throw plenty of punches again. Navarro is going for big shots but is being countered well. Sanchez with a straight right. Eye is bothering Sanchez again. Hard jab by Navarro and Sanchez runs away. Big left by Navarro, Sanchez gets knocked back. Another round for Navarro.
Round 8 - Sanchez looks in pretty bad shape, Navarro chasing him and landing more hard shots. Navarro landing a hard jab.Huge left hands by Navarro, Sanchez keeps throwing to get out of trouble. Navarro throwing Sanchez a beating at this point, but Sanchez shows no quit.

Round 9 - Sanchez just looks like he is trying to survive at this point as Navarro is chasing him around and landing hard shots whenever Sanchez stops. Hard right jab of Navarro is pushing the head back of Sanchez. Navarro with a big left, now an uppercut. Straight rights by Sanchez and Navarro responds with some bodyshots. Navarro landing some big punches. Another round for Navarro.

Round 10 - Doctors checked on Sanchez in after the last round. Navarro is still pushing Sanchez around and landing some hard punches. Sanchez trying to land when he can but Navarro walking through the shots to land harder blows. HBO thinks someone should stop the fight. Another round for Navarro
Round 11 - Big right by Navarro sends Sanchez flying back. Navarro hunting down Sanchez and landing some heavy blows. Sanchez's face is a mess. Navarro sends Sanchez back with a hard left. Navarro beating Sanchez in the corner with big shots and Richard Steele moves in to stop the fight. Very good stoppage.
11th round TKO win for Carlos Navarro.
WBO junior welterweight championship is next, undefeated Miguel Cotto takes on Randall Bailey. That fight begins in about 15 minutes so time for all reading to get a drink or snack.
Miguel Cotto is weighing in at 155 pounds tonight, a junior middleweight after weighing 139 1/2 for this fight yesterday. Bailey is weiging in tonight at 149.
Round 1 - Cotto starts with the jab and trying to land a few punches to the body. Bailey trying to shoot the right over Cotto's left. Right by Bailey, left-right bodyshots by Cotto. Round 2 - HBO gave Bailey the last round as well. Bailey using his legs and working the jab. Combo by Cotto. Jab and right hand by Bailey. Left hook by Cotto. Hard right by Bailey pushes Cotto back. Cotto now coming in with combos. Hard bodyshot by Cotto. Big left by Cotto. Bailey jabbing. Left by Cotto, bodyshot by Cotto. Hard left by Cotto and two bodyshots by Cotto. Three punch combo by Cotto, bodyshot by Cotto and Bailey goes down. Bailey beats the count but is hurt to the body and Cotto going back to the body work. Round ends and a big 10-8 round for Cotto.
Round 3 - Now Cotto is taking the lead and both men are jabbing. Bailey trying to land some punches but Cotto's defense is strong. Cotto lands a 4 punch combo. Bodyshot by Cotto. Three punch combo by Cotto. Another big bodyshot almost puts Bailey down again, Bailey now goes to a knee from the shot. He takes an eight count and the doctor checks a cut under his left eye. Another big 10-8 round for Miguel Cotto.
Round 4 - HBO questioning the ref's decision to call the doctor in to check on Bailey in the last round because it was a cut "under" Bailey's eye and it also took away Cotto's chance to end the fight after Bailey got up. Cotto going back to the body. Cotto with more body damage. Cotto land sseven shots up and downstairs. Cotto going back to the body with vicious shots. Another big round for Cotto.
Round 5 - Both guys jabbing in slow.One-two by Cotto. Bailey now trying to go to the body. Cotto now going back to the body. Miguel lets Bailey take the lead and he is countering Bailey. Cotto doing work to the body and the head, two punch combo by Cotto. Another round for Cotto.
