| Tony Bellew vs. Juergen Braehmer Ordered By The EBU
|
|
By Per Ake Persson British light heavyweight Tony Bellew, 19-1, has been nominated as official challenger for EBU light heavyweight champ Juergen Braehmer, 39-2. There΄s now a period for negotiations before the EBU calls for purse bids. Both men have their eyes on world titles though and Braehmer also won a WBO eliminator when he beat Eduard Gutknecht and won the EBU title. Bellew, the WBC's silver champion, is facing Isaac Chilemba in a final WBC eliminator on March 30th at Echo Arena in Liverpool. The Bellew-Chilemba winner is expected to face full WBC champion Chad Dawson. Tags: Juergen Braehmer , Tony Bellew |

Why would any of these 2 boxers want to fight for the European when they are 2 fights away each from a world title fight???
Seems strange to me |

Yhea I like it, but not in Liverpool. Nuetral ground would be best. So how about the Benidorm Bullring? |

Now this is a decent fight, and finally a step up for both fighters. |

Bellew seems to have his eyes on a Chad Dawson fight if he gets past Chilemba. Bellew Vs Braehmer is a fight i'd like to see though.
Picking up the European strap would be good for Bellew, especially if the fight is over here in England. |
