SP Promotions presents a big card on February 25 at the Centre Pierre-Charbonneau in Montreal. Heavyweight Sylvera Louis (2-1-0) will return to the ring. In his last battle fought on November 11 at the Corona Theatre, Louis was knocked out with a few seconds left in first round by Ukraine's Andriy Ivanov (4-6-0).

"For Those Who care, I'm doing fine, really. Do not get me wrong, this sucks tremendously. I have been able to bounce back from much worse in the past. As for that part of my career, I plan to rest until the New Year, Then we will tackle the best opponents that are available to me. "

When contacted by BoxingScene.com/Netboxe.com, Sylvera Louis confirmed the situation. "I started my preparation this week, quietly, after a week's holiday in the south. I intend to do lower volume of training than I did before. I recently figured out why my body is so sensitive, my blood sugar is consistently below normal. Furthermore, I intend to stick to my style of being more patient which gave me the most success."

The opponent, John Wayne, who defeated former Canadian champion Patrice L'Heureux by TKO in June 2010, has also beaten in his last fight against the Puerto Rican boxer Ruben Rivera.

Despite the successful surgery that followed, he was advised him that he could probably play sports. He started, however long sessions of physiotherapy and training. In early 2007, he proceeded with his partners to open the Underdog Boxing Club located at the corner of St. Laurent and Ste-Catherine in downtown Montreal. Back in the ring in 2007, he won the Canadian championship for the years 2008 and 2009, in addition to the silver medal at the Pan-American tournament in 2009. Finally, in March 2010, Sylvera Louis had his first professional fight.

Also on the card; Andriy Ivanov will face one of Sylvera Louis' victims, Montreal's Taffo Asongwed (0-5-3).

Among the major battles of the evening, former WBO heavyweight champion Tommy Morrison (48-3-1) will return to the ring against hard hitter Eric Barrak (3-0-0). As for veteran and former heavyweight champion Ray Mercer (36-7-1), he will return to boxing in a confrontation against the tough Stephane Tessier (3-26-1), who notably went the distance with Alexander Povetkin, and Joe Mesi.
