Tomasz Adamek's Return To Possibly Land on October 18

By Luke Furman

According to multiple sources in Poland, former two division world champion Tomasz Adamek (49-3, 29KOs), 37-years-old, will potentially return on October 18th in Lodz, Poland. Adamek was last in the ring this past March, where he lost a twelve round decision to undefeated heavyweight contender Czar Glazov of Ukraine. Prior to that, Adamek had a five fight win streak. He still hopes to land a major title shot in the near future.

No opponent has been set, but Ray Austin's name has been kicked around in boxing circles.

"For me it doesn't matter [who I fight]. I just want to give the people a good show, something that will be remembered and remembered for a long time," Adamek stated when discussing his fall return.
Didn't he announce his retirement after his last fight?
Common as with many fighters, the temptation of more paydays and missing the fighting game keeps them coming back for more. Adamek can earn good money fighting in his native Poland,…
