Former world champion in two weight divisions, 35-year-old Polish star Tomasz Adamek (44-2, 28KOs), is reportedly severing ties with his co-promoter of the last few years, Main Events. Adamek's promotional contract recently expired and it appears that he plans to move forward with Polish promoter Ziggy Rozalski. In his last fight, Adamek was stopped in ten rounds by WBC heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko in September. He plans to return in March.

"There is no need for further cooperation. My time working with Main Events was good and I thank them for everything, but now everyone is going their own way. My boss is Ziggy Rozalski. Now we're going to act on our own. We have friends who will help us in organizing our boxing events. My job is training and victory in battle. I need to win and once again try to become world heavyweight champion title. The next fight will likely take place in March in New Jersey or New York, because I have a lot of fans over there. I don't know yet who I'm going to fight," Adamek said.
