Tomasz Adamek (50-5, 30 KOs), a former world champion in two divisions, is mulling the possibility of a final ring return in 2017. In April of this year, Adamek announced his retirement after suffering a stunning knockout loss to hard punching heavyweight Eric Molina in the tenth round.

Adamek's family is advising him to stay away from the ring. The boxer would like to have a final fight to says goodbye to his fans on Poland, but admits that he would require a solid opponent and does not want an easy coach.

"My wife and children have advised me against the return, but I would like to somehow say goodbye to the fans. On the other hand, I will not be satisfied with a win against a mediocre opponent. So if I do say goodbye, it's would be against someone strong," said Adamek.

Interestingly, if the former champion would actually come back, it would likely come with a new coach. After a long adventure with trainers Andrzej Gmitruk and Roger Bloodworth, and a short stint with Buddy McGirt, Tomasz would employ a fourth trainer in his professional career.

"As of today, I still remain retired, but I would like the fans to remember me as a true warrior," Adamek continued.

"I feel fulfilled as a fight fighter. I gained the titles of the two divisions, defended them, I got the belt of ring magazine, so I can not complain. The only thing I would still want to do is somehow find a good way to say goodbye to the fans."
