According to multiple outlets in Poland, the heavyweight grudge match, between homegrown boxers Tomasz Adamek (49-3, 29 KOs) Artur Szpilka (16-1, 12 KOs), is going to take place on the 8th of November in Kraków. At one point the negotiations appeared to break down and Mariusz Wach (27-1, 15 KOs) was going to be substituted in against Adamek.
Both fighters are coming off defeats. On March 15th, two division former champion Adamek lost a tough twelve round decision to Czar Glazkov. Szpilka will be looking to rebound from his January defeat, a tenth round TKO at the hands of highly regarded Bryant Jennings.
