Tomas Rojas To Defend WBC Title on September 3

By Miguel Rivera

WBC super flyweight champion Tomas "Gusano" Rojas (36-12-1, 24KOs) will make the next defense of his title on September 3. The exact location has not been confirmed, but a venue in Mexico is likely. In the month of May, Rojas had a very impressive defense against power puncher Juan Jose "Goofy" Montes. Rojas, who recently resigned with Zanfer Promotions, dominated most of the action and stopped Montes in eleven rounds.
