Heavyweight: With no formal suspension or investigative conclusion in as yet on Alexander Povetkin, he remains rated as he was. Joseph Parker, who passed a solid learning test against veteran Carlos Takam, moves into the top five.

Cruiserweight: Inactive for a year, and without a fight scheduled, Grigory Drozd exits the ratings. Consideration was given to moving Denis Lebedev to the top spot after his unification win over Victor Ramirez but Glowacki had an impressive defense against Steve Cunningham and retains the top spot. Yunier Dorticos won a fight of the year candidate over Youri Kalenga to make his ratings debut. Toney Bellew knocked Ilunga Makabu out of the ratings with a potent stoppage and enters a titlist.

Super Middleweight: James DeGale got a debatable decision over Rogelio Medina and slips below Gilberto Ramirez in the ratings. Badou Jack is unaffected by a poorly decided draw he deserved to win against Lucian Bute; Bute’s drug test results await final confirmation before a reaction here. Medina enters the top ten.

Jr. Middleweight: Jermall Charlo moves up on the strength of a career best win over Austin Trout. Erislandy Lara maintains the top spot. In addition, a long overdue correction in the history portion is made. The overall record holder for consecutive title defenses in the class is Gianfranco Rosi, not Terry Norris. Apologies for the counting error and kudos to site contributor and trainer Stephen Edwards for the catch.

Welterweight: Big action is coming this summer. In the meantime, David Avanesyan enters with an eye towards a mandatory shot at the winner of Keith Thurman-Shawn Porter.

Jr. Welterweight: Mauricio Herrera lost a welterweight fight to Frankie Gomez. He had previously stated he might be moving up full time but we’ll wait to see where his next fight is signed after the loss (as we wait to see if Broner also genuinely moves to 147 after missing weight his last out).

Lightweight: Anthony Crolla’s impressive win over Ismael Barroso earns him a bump in the top ten. Wouldn’t a unification match with Terry Flanagan be fun? Miguel Vasquez exits the top ten to campaign at 140 lbs.

Jr. Lightweight: In a shocker, Jezreel Corrales obliterated long reigning but aging titlist Takashi Uchiyama. His reward is the top slot on entry into the top ten. Uchiyama slips to just above former victim Takashi Miura. Corrales’ entry forces Miguel Berchelt from the top ten.

Jr. Featherweight: Hidenori Otake has not competed in the division for over a year and exits the top ten. Rey Vargas enters the top ten.

Flyweight: Johnriel Casimero is now a two-division titlist after a revenge win over slick Amnat Ruenroeng. It was looking like another ugly affair before Casimero broke through with a pretty knockout. Casimero is now calling out world champion Roman Gonzalez.

Strawweight: Kosei Tanaka has vacated his belt in the class and moved up. Jesus Silvestre hasn’t fought in the division in over a year and is also campaigning higher. Both exit. Jose Antonio Jimenez enters after an upset of former titlist Xiong Zhao Zhong. Saul Juarez enters the top ten.
