WBO junior welterweight champion Timothy Bradley moves up in weight to challenge unbeaten welterweight Carlos Abregu this Saturday in California. He made the move in weight to lure some of the big names at 147, like Andre Berto, Manny Pacquiao, Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Shane Mosley.

He would like to get a chance to fight some of the big names in his own division. A potential unification may happen against WBC/WBO champion Devon Alexander on January 29. Another guy he would love to fight is WBA champion Amir Khan. Prior to Khan leaving Frank Warren to sign with Golden Boy Promotions at the start of the year, there was a deal in place for Khan to fight Bradley on Showtime. Once Khan signed with Golden Boy, that deal went south.

"It was done. But when Khan signed with Golden Boy, they had other plans for him. They took the fight from us, but sooner or later he's going to have to come out and dance. He's a good fighter. I don't know what he's afraid of, but he needs to fight. He needs to fight some real stiff competition," Bradley told BoxingScene.com's Luis Sandoval.
