Tim Bradley Confident: Heck Yeah, I Can Hurt Pacquiao!

Timothy Bradley (28-0) challenges WBO welterweight champion Manny Pacquiao on June 9th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. However, Bradley only has 12 knockouts among his 28 victories, a knockout percentage of just 41.3 percent. That is low, to be sure. But Bradley doesn't want to hear about that, either.

"Heck, yeah; heck, yeah," he said, when asked if he can hurt Pacquiao. "I put dudes on the canvas. People don't see me knock guys out with one punch. I put them on the canvas. I put Junior Witter on the canvas, I put (Lamont) Peterson on the canvas. I put, who else? I put Edner Cherry on the canvas. I put a lot of guys on the canvas.

"I can put him on the canvas, too, I believe that. I believe that, without a doubt. Look at me, man. Go look at Manny, come look at me. Come feel my bones, come feel his bones. Look at this picture right here. Look at them guns."

Of course, having big "guns" doesn't automatically mean a fighter has good punching power. That is common knowledge.

ya he can hurt pacquiao like he hurt amir khan - oh wait that never happened. Bradley gets dominated - it doesn't go 12 unless he gets in a early headbutt to even up the odds
Like when he dropped Peterson in the 3rd round?
Yes a knock down but at the end of the round Bradley was the one hurt the most. Take your own advice go back n watch the fight. Even his corner where pissed
No he doesn't. Even Peterson walked him down like he did to Khan. The first four rounds Peterson got the best of Timmy in the inside. After that Timmy had to box n move more in the outside
Like when he dropped Peterson in the 3rd round?
My definition of hurt,is to have your opponent in a position to stop them..I don't see Bradley getting Pac in that position..But he does have enough power that Pac will respect it...
No he doesn't.
I'm convinced that there are maybe 12 people on this site that have actually watched more than one or two Bradley fights. If that.
I agree, the dude that I've seen fight is among the top 5 p4p in the sport. You sleep on this guy or think because he doesn't KO ever...
