Thomas Dulorme Vows: I Will Win a World Title at 140

By Bill "Two Scoops" Emes

Junior welterweight contender Thomas Dulorme (19-1, 14KOs) has promised to win a world title at 140-pounds. He suffered a big career setback last year when Carlos Abregu knocked him out in seven rounds. After the loss, he made a decision to start climbing down to 140. He already picked up three easy wins in a row, including Saturday's eight round TKO of Francisco Figueroa.

"I felt great at 140, a difference from 147 - where now I can go forward and push the guys back. I felt stronger [with Figueroa], I felt quicker. I'm at the right weight. 140 is really different. I feel like the bigger fighter. I feel great at 140. I will be here for a long time. Im going to do great things at 140 and win a world title," Dulorme told BoxingScene.com.

Dulorme has fought three times in 2013 and wants to return at least two more times before the year is out.
