Theophane Returns To The United States on August 24

Charlotte, NC-World of Champions Boxing presents another power packed night of premiere professional boxers from across the country and world.  The boxing event will take place on August 24, 2012 at NC Music Factory’s Reelworks Studios located at 817 Hamilton Street. Doors open at 6 and the action starts at 7.  General admission $25, ringside and VIP tables available.

Bellonora McCallum, the only female boxing promoter in Charlotte, is dedicated to establishing Charlotte as a boxing powerhouse.  McCallum not only showcases local professional boxing talents but also reaches beyond North Carolina’s borders to draw elite professional fighters from various regions of the country.  She has extended her influence internationally to attract former British light welterweight Champion and former IBF world welterweight number 4 Ashley “Treasure” Theophane with a record of 31-5-1, 9 wins by way of knockout.  Theophane has fought in the US, Germany, England, and St. Lucia.

Theophane will be featured as a co-main event on August 24th and will be looking to add to his impressive record.

Treasure as Ashley Theophane is known beat two time world title challenger Delvin Rodriguez in his last Appearance in America. Since then he was British 140lb champion reigning for 15 months beating the likes of Lenny Daws, former European champion Jason Cook and Southern Area champion Ben Murphy.

Treasure has also beaten former world champion Demarcus Corley who recently knocked out WBA world number ten Paul McCloskey.

WBC world champion Danny Garcia was pushed all the way by Ashley 'Treasure' Theophane winning by a slender split decision with one round being the difference. Danny would go onto knock Amir Khan out in four rounds.

Theophane is targeting the world's best fighters but first he must come through his 38th fight on World of Champions 24th August promotion.
