A change of plans are in order. WBC silver super bantamweight champion Victor "Viking" Terrazas (32-2-1, 18KOs) was scheduled to face "the real" Genaro Garcia on April 14th in Mexico, but that fight is now off.
According to Canelo Promotions, Terrazas will now take part in a final WBC super bantamweight eliminator against dangerous South African Simpiwe Vetyeka (23-1, 13KOs). The fight will move forward on the same April date, but no venue has been announced.
The winner will become the mandatory challenger to the full title, which is actually vacant and up for grabs on April 21 when Abner Mares and Eric Morel collide in El Paso, Texas.
