| Terrazas: No Fear of Abner Mares, I'm Superior To Him!

By Miguel Rivera Mexico's Victor "Viking" Terrazas (36-2-1, 21KOs) says WBC super bantamweight champion Abner Mares (25-0-1, 13KOs) is avoiding a match between the two of them. Terrazas is the mandatory challenger to Mares' title and the potential bout could head to a purse bid in the near future. Terrazas is promoted by Zanfer Promotions of Mexico. "The way things are, I think he does not want to fight me. He knows in advance that it is a hard fight. He knows that I am superior to him, especially when it comes to power. I'm a little taller. He fought taller fighters like Anselmo Moreno, but nobody who punched like me. I've faced tougher fighters than Mares and I've won. I got used to putting up with my compadre, 'Chololo' Larios (in sparring), and at the time he was a junior featherweight terror. Abner Mares, I don't think he do much damage with his punches," Terrazes said. Terrazes says if Mares avoids their match and vacates his title, then he will face Cristian Mijares for the vacant belt. he might never get Donaire, he should move up to 126 because dealing with Arum is impossible
